I purchased a security camera from Banggood. It arrived with the wrong adapter plug or Australia. They refunded me $7 and told me to buy one here in Australia. I did so and when I tried to set the camera up, it ended up being a faulty product. I have spent hours trying to set it up using my phone, ipad and even my husbands phone and keep getting the same error code. I took a video and sent it to Banggood. I have sent them about 10 or more emails and spoken on Messenger chat to a few different people and they seem to not understand or choose to not understand. Two weeks later and I get told I am going to be refunded $7 again instead of the full amount (minus the $7 I already received) which means they still owe me $32. Their customer after-sales is useless and condescending. I think they are just hoping that I will give up because of all the stress. I have learnt a valuable lesson here, to never ever buy from them again. We had another order worth even more for another item and got sent the wrong thing, but didn’t bother complaining about that, and now wishing we had at the time, although I am guessing I would get the same run-around that we have had with this purchase. Banggood is the worst company that I have ever had to deal with when receiving a faulty product. I would never recommend Banggood to anybody. BUYER BEWARE - they are so difficult to deal with and I think the language barrier is a great problem with them understanding what I am saying, but the video I supplied and the screenshot of the error is explanation enough - language does not have anything to do with photographic proof that I have supplied countless times.
