The new drop in service is terrible! There is no indication on when you'll be seen and the person holding the iPad has to justify the service to angry customers every 5 minutes. I saw this in the Ealing Broadway branch and Canary Wharf on the same day (as I myself gave up waiting the first time around!!) surely if this is commonplace then Barclays would do something about this ridiculous service. No one wants it and it's inconvenient for staff and customers alike!!!
