The process to open a Barclay account is incredibly tedious. I have been in the processing of opening a business account since March. First application I provided everything and didnt hear back from my advisor for months when chasing. When I finally got a response it was to tell me they had closed my application for not replying to their email. When I attached my numerous emails and calls chasing as evidence they told me to start a new application.
I start a new application, I provide all the details only to find out despite being barclays customer for 12 years they barely have any of my information. I understand the kyc checks but the level of incompetence is surreal, I have three barclays accounts yet they don't know my addresses.
