So far, so good! I've had a Barton 22mm brown leather strap on my J&S chronograph moonphase for about a week now, and it's been great. The leather didn't need any breaking in, and I really appreciate the quick release function. The only suggestion I would have would be to have the end of the leather band taper in a bit. Overall, really great buy.
