Even with a small PA, I was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful quality sound with this condenser microphone. I never like a mic to be too close to my mouth when singing or playing my chromatic harmonica. I prefer to have it about 6" away, but it's not possible with other mics. It was clear and even at about 12" away. This is an excellent mic.
