I ordered a pair of '(B-Stock) Luen Honey Burst Conga's 10.5 + 11.5-Inches with Pickups and Rack' from Bax Music. They arrived quite promptly. Without the rack. I e-mailed and initially got no response. I phone a few times and eventually got through to someone in what they are pleased to call 'customer service'. She patronisingly tried to claim that, because they were B stock they would be incomplete and that the rack wasn't included and that I should look at the second photograph because that showed 'what you see is what you get'. The second photograph showed the two congas. On a rack. I pointed to the item description and eventually she agreed that it did mention the rack and offered me a £10 voucher. Given that the cheapest conga stand is £40 this was derisory. I have since had two e-mails claiming that it was a misunderstanding and that the rack clearly wasn't included. I then got an email asking me to review the '(B-Stock) Luen Honey Burst Conga's 10.5 + 11.5-Inches with Pickups AND RACK' (my caps). So, not only are they liars, but they can't even get their story straight.
I have put in a claim to PayPal and, if that gets nowhere, will report to Trading Standards (UK) and what ACM (NL).
