Brazier seem to have pocketed my tax rebate. Just when I am going through the toughest financial time of my life I get a HMRC letter telling me they are about to send me a tax rebate…via a company I’ve never heard of. Six weeks on, no rebate so I call HMRC. The cheque was sent out and has been cashed….by a company called Brazier. Wtf?? Is this blatant theft?!! Maybe they were due a fee for whatever bit of nonsense they did to get this rebate in which case bill me. But this?! I have now wasted several chunks of time and phone costs waiting to speak to someone but listening to a repeating message. Because apparently the pandemic is still affecting everyone there and no-one can work out how to man phones from home. You all packed up and went home for the pandemic didn’t you?, - pocketing all our tax rebates below while you did it. Crooks.
