Whilst the beer was great, the service was awful. When my delivery failed to arrive I tried contacting the delivery people - UKMail, as their online tracking service was no help. However the UKMail phone number only gets you a machine where your options are limited (I did try emailing that produced no joy). After half a day trawling the internet and trying many numbers (I am not looking forward to my phone bill!) I found the number to another part of their business and begged them to pass my number over so they could phone me back. I had to do this several times to finally be told my parcel appeared broken and so I needed to contact Beer Hawk. Why they could not have let me know or let Beer Hawk know is beyond me. So I contacted Beer Hawk by email, and they arranged for a replacement to be sent out, but only using the same delivery method as before - I had ordered the beer for a special occasion so needed it asap. Whilst Beer Hawk were good at re-ordering the beer for me they did not in any way address my disappointment with the Delivery company, if I had not chased to find out where my parcel was (which was like something off Crystal Maze) then nothing would have happened. I do think Beer Hawk need to get a Delivery company where you can at least speak to a human if you want to. So whilst the beer was good the delivery service was shocking.
