I bought a cover for a Friheten sofa which cost nearly half the price of the sofa because I thought it would be convenient to have a washable cover. Brand new it looked okay but somewhat tight in the corners and needed to be constantly straightened. Then after the first wash, despite following washing instructions, it shrunk to the point that the velcro in the corners wouldn't attach. So most of the time the cover looks sloppy. A "washable" cotton cover would be great if it came pre-shrunk. This one is a nuisance
