My husband and I went to Bettys tea room in York on Sunday afternoon. We didn’t have to queue for too long before getting a table. The staff were amazing, very polite and very organised !!
We decided on the cream tea which was quite expensive but lovely. My only criticism would be that they do not make plain scones. When I asked I was told I wouldn’t be the first to pick the fruit out. For someone like myself who doesn’t eat sultanas that’s exactly what I had to do which was disappointing !!
