We have had 3 full pallets of briquettes in the last 3 years. Just taken the 3rd delivery.
The first load were 'Nestro oak' these were the best, looks like they came from lithuania or somewhere eastern european. Shreds of oak compacted into 5 large logs per pack. Very hot and very long lasting. They are what made me decide to get a pallet load every year, to top up the log supply as a ' handy no splitting easy to use for the wife while I'm away from home fuel '. They lasted 6 months mixing with any other logs I could find. The next load were different, a mix of hard and softwoods apparently. Similar size but these had a hole through the middle, compacted small chips and a bit crumbly rather than the large oak shreds of the previous ones so, a bit messy, vaccuum on standby. Still 5 per pack. Nearly as long burning too. The most recent ones are smaller, 7 per pack. They burn hot, but not as long. I preferred the larger logs they just burn longer. Luckily a dead elm blew down nearby last week so I can use the briquettes to get those logs going.
The price has jumped by £200 (per pallet) in the last year...gulp. Still a good product very hot clean burning, easy to use. I live rural west coast scotland, Bioglow manage to deliver and easy to order from.
