Ordered the box of bix celebrating the Queen's 90th for my dear friend who was celebrating her 50th on the very same day!! A group of her close friends are usually invited to hers for tea, scones and cake (weather permitting, in the garden), and this year with Prosecco - although slightly disappointingly we had to be inside...Well, the box was met with MANY 'ooohs' and 'aahhhs', and the biscuits carefully inspected...my friend had laid on her usual spread of fabulous scones, strawberry jam, home made cakes, so the box was left intact for her delectation after the 'Locusts' had departed! She was thrilled, and now has the lovely box too as a keepsake of the day! Thank you, Biscuiteers.
