Ordered a book and received an empty envelope with the receipt for £21.40 which had long been debited. When I tried to contact Blackwells by phone there was just a recorded message to contact them by email. When I did this quoting all the details of the Whist company, the email was blocked! Then when I tried to contact Whistl which turned into Evri I was again put into a robotic system that could not help me and I am left with a vague message that I will be contacted! Shocking service. I have no idea what they do in circumstances where the package either never did contain the book or has been opened and the book removed somewhere along the chain. I chose Blackwells because it is or was a family business and British but the service when things go wrong is shocking.
