You may be interestedthat I am a chartered H&V Engineer with CIBSE, and we are starting a study on " Noise breakout from plastic ducting", which will mainly be on the rectangular types rather than circular ( if I have any say ). I wrote the section in the CIBSE noise guide based on tests at my previous company of Sound Attenuators,, Colchester
