Blinds by Post have managed to mishandle every single order we’ve placed — leaving us out of pocket due to their poor communication, packing errors, and failure to stand by their word. It began with our first order: a blind that was apparently “lost in the mail.” Initially, we were told “it’s on its way,” and “we’re contacting the courier.” After multiple follow-ups and weeks of waiting, we were finally told it had been lost and a replacement would be sent. Eventually, the blind arrived. That blind fit and functioned well. So, with some hesitation, we placed a second order: two black blinds for a different room. Surely the same chaos couldn’t happen twice? After installing the first blind, we pulled it down — and it was beige. Not black. We hadn’t checked the colour beforehand, because why would we need to? They were part of the same order — both listed as black. And yet, one was black, the other beige. We had already hand-screwed the beige blind into a PVC frame — a process that isn’t simple and compromises the integrity of the material if removed. Frustrated, we contacted customer service the next day and requested to return the black blind in exchange for a matching beige one. We were told they’d “check with their supplier.” Without any confirmation or update, they sent us another black blind. We called again, clearly explaining this wasn’t what we requested. A customer service representative apologised, promised collection of the two black blinds, and said we’d receive a beige one instead. A week passed — no updates, no pickup, no replacement. After chasing again, we were told, ‘apologies, we will send out a beige blind’. Minutes later, we received a call that we’d need to purchase a new blind if we wanted a matching beige blind. If you want to deal with a company that communicates poorly, mispacks your orders, and fails to take responsibility — Blinds by Post is the one. If not, look elsewhere.
