Disappointed with Product Quality, Missing Parts, and Poor Customer Service We ordered made-to-measure blinds (Day & Night Blinds) from Blinds By Post and unfortunately, the experience has been very disappointing. Missing parts: Incorrect brackets due to unclear information and not enough screws supplied for install. Unclear website: The bracket options on their website were unclear, leading to an incorrect brackets being supplied. Poor quality: The blinds themselves are not breathable and do now allow any airflow through Short pull cords: The cords provided are far too short to use the blinds comfortably - 'one size does all' Delayed delivery and communication issues: The blinds arrived later than the estimated dispatch date, and we had to make multiple attempts to contact them before receiving a response. While they eventually replied, the resolution offered was far from satisfactory — including charging us for brackets Given the value of the order, we expected better customer care and a higher quality product. - As from now have not replied to our email from last week, we requested images of the new brackets to insure we have the correct brackets but just completely ignored, We was advised the brackets are not available on the website but supposedly they are. We hope they take this feedback seriously and improve both their website clarity and after-sales support.

Ordered perfect fit wooden blinds from blinds by post and turned out they were far from perfect. The slats rubbed on the sides of the blind frame and had an extra 3 slats that gathered at the bottom of the blinds. The blinds when closed let through uneven light as they were not made very well (probably because the wrap the string tightly around the blinds)Got in touch with them and told them my issues but they constantly wanted pic/videos which made me feel i was lying to them. Anyway they gave as 3 replacement blinds but they didn't fit because they were a different size from the faulty ones. I gave up after that and Claire didn't respond back to them.NIGHTMARE.

After one charge of the motorised new blind, it stopped working... we plugged it back in, only for it not to work. After checking, the prongs had moved. I contacted blindsbypost who sent a manual on how to rectify the issue. I did this... prongs snapped and they are now saying it was misuse of the blind. Never use this company - they are shocking. Sent me a payment link for a new motor at £108 when i only tried to sort the problem after them telling me to do it a certain way. Asked for it to be escalated and i was told it was only on email ... id rather they call me. Dont waste your money on this company. The cheek to ask me to pay for a new motor when i did what they asked me to do!!!!!

Blinds by Post have managed to mishandle every single order we’ve placed — leaving us out of pocket due to their poor communication, packing errors, and failure to stand by their word. It began with our first order: a blind that was apparently “lost in the mail.” Initially, we were told “it’s on its way,” and “we’re contacting the courier.” After multiple follow-ups and weeks of waiting, we were finally told it had been lost and a replacement would be sent. Eventually, the blind arrived. That blind fit and functioned well. So, with some hesitation, we placed a second order: two black blinds for a different room. Surely the same chaos couldn’t happen twice? After installing the first blind, we pulled it down — and it was beige. Not black. We hadn’t checked the colour beforehand, because why would we need to? They were part of the same order — both listed as black. And yet, one was black, the other beige. We had already hand-screwed the beige blind into a PVC frame — a process that isn’t simple and compromises the integrity of the material if removed. Frustrated, we contacted customer service the next day and requested to return the black blind in exchange for a matching beige one. We were told they’d “check with their supplier.” Without any confirmation or update, they sent us another black blind. We called again, clearly explaining this wasn’t what we requested. A customer service representative apologised, promised collection of the two black blinds, and said we’d receive a beige one instead. A week passed — no updates, no pickup, no replacement. After chasing again, we were told, ‘apologies, we will send out a beige blind’. Minutes later, we received a call that we’d need to purchase a new blind if we wanted a matching beige blind. If you want to deal with a company that communicates poorly, mispacks your orders, and fails to take responsibility — Blinds by Post is the one. If not, look elsewhere.

An exhausting, unacceptable experience from start to finish. I ordered from BlindsByPost expecting a professional level of service — what I got was the complete opposite. After missing their stated delivery window (as clearly noted on my order invoice), I gave them four days’ advance notice to cancel the order, as I would be out of the country. They acknowledged this, assured me the courier would be informed, and confirmed the delivery would not go ahead. What actually happened? The courier delivered the order anyway — without my consent, without a signature, and left it in a shared-access area where I had no means of collecting it. I never took possession of the order, and yet I’ve had to waste an absurd amount of time trying to recover my money for products I don’t even have. Their internal “investigation” process has been nothing short of farcical. Repeated follow-ups from my side were met with vague promises, conflicting updates, and zero urgency. Weeks have passed with no resolution. I’ve finally had to raise a formal dispute with my credit card company just to protect myself as a consumer. BlindsByPost has demonstrated a lack of professionalism, poor internal communication, and zero customer care. I would strongly urge anyone considering them to think twice — this company does not deliver on basic service, let alone accountability.

Terrible experience. 1x Blind arrived broken and the other was misaligned wonky / faulty- ive been battling with them for months. Unreasonable requests, goal posts constantly being moved. Still no solution in sight to the point of whetr they started ignoring my emails. I have requested a chargeback through my bank and they now have the audacity to say they weren't broken upon delivery despite being provided with evidence after unpacking.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, but I don't make much of the MeasureSafe insurance. You have to pay for the new delivery, (fair enough) and for the return of the old blind, (potentially, also fair) but must sign an agreement which says 'at their discretion you may be liable for the whole cost of a new blind, if it doesn't make it back to BlindsbyPost okay. I have the original packaging, but I'm not going to take the risk!

3 Year Warranty USELESS !!!!! The metal slats are blistering after a year and Blinds by Post refuse to accept that this is a warrantee or quality issue. 20% discount on replacements offered. WARNING Look elsewhere for blinds.

FAR from PERFEC FIT - Always read negative reviews – If something goes wrong this Company don’t want to know! Ordered some perfect fit shutters, presale the customer services was good. Received the order and as it would be a few months before we could fit to our French doors (due to builders work ongoing) we made sure we unpacked to check the shutters were ok and carefully put them back in the box. Fast track a few months on and what should have been an quick easy job turned into a time consuming nightmare. Despite us following BlindsbyPost measuring & fitting instructions to the letter, the 22mm metal fixing clips provided, when clipped behind the upvc window beads, created a much bigger gap between opposite clips, so the shutters could not be clipped/held in place. I spent quite a lot of time, providing pictures and detail to customer service, but ultimately was told – IT WAS MY ISSUE I HAD MEASURED IT WRONG!! I politely explained that I was a Building Surveyor, plus worked on the tools and I was very capable of not making a mistake – plus tried to phone them as well as emailing to resolve, however Claire who dealt with it, refused to take my call or phone me back. Customer service did however confirm how big the shutters should be and I confirm they had been made to that size, however it was clear that the clips they provided were too big and so I politely requested that they send some smaller clips FOC for me to try and I would then return the bigger clips if that resolved the issue – a fair request considering? They refused and said smaller clips would not make any difference and it was my mistake, despite BlindsbyPost deciding what clips to provide, not me. They said I could buy new clips at 75p each, plus pay the astronomical postage of £7.95 – considering the size and weight of the clips that’s mental. As we in no way wanted to them anymore of my money, we purchased some 18 & 20mm clips (standard industry perfect fit clips) from a different supplier and no surprise the 18mm reduced the gap between opposite clips and allowed the shutters to be clipped in – so proving what Blindsbypost said was a complete lie! I actually have a picture of the 18, 20 & 22mm clips side by side and it is very clear that the size of clips makes a big difference and I’m confident that blindsbypost could see that in their warehouse, but decided to gas light the obvious issue they had caused. So for anyone that does read this review, please we warned, if something does go wrong (beyond your control) then this company has 0 fair customer service to resolve any issues and from the off had an attitude that it was the customers error and not their issue!

Subpar products, promised warranty is not observed. Customer service is non-existent - emails go unanswered. How somebody manages to run a business like this nowadays is baffling. Take your money elsewhere.

Avoid this company. They sent me a defective blind and refused to sort it out as 'they test all blinds before they send them out.' So, it's obviously my fault that their blind motor doesn't work. Go to blinds2go instead, I contacted them originally thinking I'd ordered from them and withing 10 minutes they offered to send a replacement. This scummy company took over 2 days to reply to an email and then I had to ring up and the same lady answered the phone pretending to be somebody else, so that we don't realise she is just sat in her bedroom reselling other peoples products, in my opinion.

I wish I could give half a star. **AVOID BlindsByPost**—they're one of those small startups quick to take your money but unable to fulfill orders correctly. I ordered a PerfectFIT blind with exact measurements, triple-checked on my end. They shipped the next day but sent the wrong sizes. When I informed them of the mistake, they demanded extensive proof, including videos and photos. It took two weeks for them to acknowledge their error. After they finally admitted it, they sneakily tried to send the correct blinds, which I refused at my doorstep as I no longer wanted to deal with them. Despite my refusal, they kept attempting to deliver. I read online that if you accept the delivery, you're stuck with it, so I quickly rejected it at the door. Despite having video evidence from my doorbell, they initially denied sending anyone. Only after I provided proof did they admit and apologize. It's been three weeks since they collected the wrong blinds, and I still haven't received a refund. I'm still fighting to get my money back. #wontgiveup

Shocking customer service provided by this company. We waited almost a month for a blind and had to continuously chase, as we wouldn’t ever get a reply from them. When the blinds finally arrived, there was a problem with them, but again, it took numerous emails/calls and were still waiting for a resolution!! Totally useless company!! I would never recommend this company to anyone looking for blinds, it’s not worth the hassle.

As others have said, do not buy from this company. We ordered blinds which arrived 2 weeks late. When assembled, it was clear they were made with cheap materials and very poor in quality. The mechanism for the blinds would not work, meaning the blinds weren't fit for purpose. Customer service took over a month to investigate, but didn't provide any solution. Credit card company had to get involved to settle the dispute.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I ordered blinds on June 27th and the payment was processed immediately. The confirmation email stated that the expected dispatch date was July 4th. However, a week after the supposed dispatch date, I had to email them for an update and was told they would check with the dispatch team. No further updates were provided. On July 15th, I emailed them again, but received no response. Finally, on July 18th, I received an automated email stating that the blinds had been dispatched. By then, I had already ordered blinds from another company and no longer needed their product. If the company had communicated any delays or apologised for the change in the dispatch date, I would have been disappointed but at least aware of the status of my order. Knowing it would take 3 weeks to dispatch, which is not mentioned on their website, would have prompted me to seek alternatives sooner. This has been a frustrating and unacceptable experience.

BUYER BEWARE - I purchased three ‘Khol anthracite - real wood blinds’ and was immediately disappointed by the poor quality and feel. My wife had the same impression and said they looked like plastic. We tried to return but were refused due to them being ‘bespoke’. Please order a sample in advance of purchasing and don’t make the mistake we made of buying this (without ordering an advance sample) thinking we would get a quality wood product from the description. The wood that is used is basswood and cheap (though to their credit is sustainable). I also found customer service very poor. Please please get a sample before you buy as you may be very disappointed. We won’t be using BlindsbyPost / Hudson Blinds again and would caution you about using them - there are many other manufacturers out there
