"My personal information was not kept safe by Bloommagic. I accidentally found a public file online because a seller from a website questioned my identity. The seller Googled my email address and the first result on the search was a public file that linked straight to the BloomMagic website. The public file contained all of the personal information I gave BloomMagic's website in June 2017, when I placed my first and last order of flowers. \r\nFurthermore, the same public file had a list of peoples email addresses and other sensitive personal information, dated from June 2017 up to the actual hour. After seeing this I went onto the BloomMagic public website and from what I could see somehow a section which should not have been accessible to me or anyone else in the public was openly accessible to all. It wasn't hard to find on their website and I'm not an IT expert to say the least. There I could see countless names, email addresses, phone numbers and even VAT invoices as well as all of my personal information and even worse of all, all of the information of the recipient of whom I had sent the flowers to. Needless to say I contacted Bloommagic straightaway. Bloommagic has assured me that they have reported this incident to the Data Protection Commissioner. I was offered a voucher by Bloommagic but declined this. I don't see myself putting trust in this website again when they couldn't even tell me how long all of my data had been available publically on the Internet. How could I be assured that they would keep my personal information safe second time around? \r\n"
