Their wifi is terrible. The router is poor and unreliable. I only get wifi in one room. The 2.4GHz channel pretty much doesn't work (dial up modem speeds). Completely unsatisfactory response to my complaints. Very long wait times (60 minutes) to speak to customer services. They provide misleading information to get sales and upgrades. I was offered free range extenders to resolve my wifi issues, but I never received them. Virgin now want me to pay a monthly fee for them. I'd expect a £45 a month broadband service to work without needing extras. The wifi may be good if you live in a studio flat, but definitely to suitable for houses or split level homes. The customer service is the worst of any company I have ever experienced.
