Firstly, it enabled me to get my PCOC, and as a previously experienced sailor, it wasn't tough. Some of the laws, jurisdictions, rules and regulations have changed since I last knew of them, and these were well explained. Website worked well, and I was able to "study", take the test quizzes, and the final exam in under 4 hours, which is about as quick as it's possible to do if you want a PCOC. Class courses and study take a day or more. the "online" exam was very convenient.
