Unacceptable service and total lack of accountability
I had one of the worst customer service experiences with Bob’s Furniture Bay Plaza. They completely messed up the delivery address on my order, even though it was correct when I placed it. To make matters worse, the delivery driver was rude and flat-out refused to come back with the furniture, saying, “I’m not coming back.” No apology, no accountability—just pure disregard.
Because of their mistake, my grandchild had to sleep on the floor for almost a week while we waited for a resolution that never came. I called the store and spoke with supervisors, but was told they had no control over the delivery because it’s handled by a third-party vendor. This is completely unacceptable. If you contract out your deliveries, you're still responsible for making it right.
The supervisor who claimed he would personally handle the issue and call me back didn't even have the decency to follow through. Instead, he had someone else call me with no support, no resolution, and no plan to fix their error.
Bob’s Furniture completely failed to deliver—not just the product, but basic customer service and decency. I’ll never shop here again, and I’d caution anyone who values reliable service to look elsewhere.
