The support is fantastic. I bought both the band and the knee support and I am using both. They give structure to my "floating" knee. Unfortunately I find they get itchy after a while and I have to remove them. It seems that part of the strap rubs on the back of my knee. I am experimenting with balancing tightness and comfort and if I can get that sorted it would be a 5 star experience for me.
