As stated, the brace is solid and feels very supportive. It has two substantial metal hinges on each side with straps that velcro on. I tore my pcl and lateral ligaments and this brace helps me feel supported and assisted to walk (Pending possibly surgery). If you are looking for a solid comfortable brace that is v supportive, I would recommend it. Thanks to body heal for the quick service too - v much appreciated.
