I love Mark and Julia’s exercise program. I bought the 10 day transformation program that comes with DVDs and a diet plan. I learned a lot and found some of the recipes encouraging. I have bought many, many exercise dvds and love this program because of the implementation of exercise, yoga, and meditative sequences for each day. It’s a very balanced system, I use it as my self care program to calm down before/after work. In the past I’ve really struggled with DOMS, (I bought of Julian Michaels’ dvds and found my body in constant pain) and this program is both challenging enough and gentle enough where I don’t have to take days off because muscle tears/fatigue. She somehow intuitively knows how to separate the muscle groups per workout so you can keep up the momentum all 10 days. Whereas other programs focus on fatiguing as many muscle groups as possible to get results quickly, but cost you in risks for injury, and can tax the immune system as you recover. I watch her videos both on YouTube and the dvds nearly every day. I love her sequences for combining yoga and Pilates. I find it difficult with most instructors to get that balance of a workout and rejuvenation and she offers both. I feel like I understand my body so much better now through her program and find that I can take better care of myself. I haven’t taken sick days from work in years and I attribute that to this combined program of implementing yoga, exercise, and mindful meditation. I’m hooked for life!
