My experiences at my local Bon Marche have previously always been good - good quality clothes and efficient and pleasant staff. However, I recently bought a pair of black jeans and, as always when buying jeans (usually from elsewhere), I gave them a gentle wash before the first wear. The colour immediately faded tremendously and the jeans look worn and very old. I have worn them once and on that occasion felt that they appeared so old and scruffy that I am going to take them to a charity shop. I know they were very cheap (£18) but I shall not buy jeans at Bon Marche again as this pair has been a complete waste of money. I would advise other customers to avoid jeans from the store too.
