Terrible customer service. Bought some joggers at Shrewsbury branch that went bobbly after 2 days wear so complained to customer services who said after 1 week that I had to go back to the store. I explained it was not local to me so after another weeks wait I was asked if I could get a friend to do it for me! Seriously! This is customer service??? Avoid this store, especially if not local to you.

Terrible experience with customer services. Been trying for months to speak to someone. Phone not answered each time i try. Wanted to check gift card balance as online option not working and store cannot check balance. Terrible service.

Absolutely disgusted, you had Evri pick up a parcel from our address, returned goods to the value of £120, which was tracked to their depot, but somehow, never reached there our was stolen, and you don't want to reimburse us,disgusting, pensioners in our late 70s, struggling, and that's the service we get.

Bonmarche have failed me. Two Issues: I ordered a dress in exactly the same size as one I already own but in a different colour. This version was too small so I needed to return it. I used Evri which is one of their recognised couriers. It's now been lost in evri's tracking system for just under two weeks with no tracking movement. I have wasted 1-2 hours today trying to contact Bonmarche by all your social media/ customer service channels - all who refuse to help! It's not their fault apparently. Evri was their courier of choice, I didn't ask to use Evri. I'm absolutely fuming as I'm now out of pocket & have no dress & no recompense. Shame on you Bonmarche.

I had to return an online purchase via post as I had paid for it using PayPal. Despite being able to collect the order in store, you cannot return it that way. Postage costs must also be paid by the customer. After waiting over two weeks for a refund, I have now been told that the returns never arrived so no refund. I am now out of pocket for three tops + cost of postage. I have used Bon Marche for years but they have just lost a customer now.

Today, I needed help with my order on line. I phone up and spoke to a lovely lady called Barbara, nothing was to much trouble to her, she went out of her way to help me sort out what I was doing wrong. I would score her 10 out of 10 for her help and kindness. Thank you Barbara,you are a credit to Bonmarch’e

I returned a top to Bon Marche on 2 nd July and after 5 phone calls have still not received a refund. After reading all the reviews I think this is a corrupt company that literally steals its customers money. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM BON MARCHE UNLESS YOU CAN RETURN TO A SHOP FOR AREFUND.They do not refund on line.

I ordered £154. Worth of good on the 24/07/25. After 3 day Evri, the delivery company emailed me to say there was a problem.I have never received thst order. No communication from Bonmarche or Evri. I had to start chasing. That's when I was told that my order was lost in transit. I said I wanted a refund. I was told ok. When I checked the following week, I still hadn't had my money back. I then had to sit on the phone for 15 minutes to get through to someone. She kept saying hiw sorry she was and that the refund hadn't bern processed and that she would do. The worst part is she kept say she was sorry but then she started laughing!!. There was nothing to say I'll send you some form of compensation for your time, just someone trying to hind the laughing in her voice. Such shame, as the shop ladies are so nice and very good at their jobs. Wish I could say the same for the people at customs service!!

Went in to Northallerton shop on Sunday 17th August with my little dog, the young lady was so kind and very helpful. Not a lot of shops allow dog's but I had rung to ask. Such a pleasant lady, a credit to your company, although I have to say all the girls are wonderful. It's a pleasure shopping there.

Having returned a pair of trousers that had holes in the fabric therefore faulty expected to be refunded for my costs of returning parcel as stipulation in their own terms and conditions. I must have sent and received a dozen emails asking for this refund. Trousers ordered in June and they received them back early July.It is now mid August and although the refund for the trousers has been made I've still not received my postage costs. This is an unacceptable length of time and I'm sure they would be charging me interest if I owed them money. Most companies offer free returns and it takes less than a week for refunds to be processed. The length of time it took to get my refund back for the item was approx 1 month. Computer systems are instant therfore no excuses are acceptable.

Have tried ordering online many times over the last few weeks but told my card is invalid which it is not. My husband used his card and was told it too was invalid. Tried to pay using PayPal you've guessed it. It too was invalid. So not able to buy a jacket that was in the sale which has now sold out. Then this morning I got an email asking me to review it 😡. How can I review an item that I was unable to buy. So have now deleted my account even though I've spent hundreds of pounds over the years. Certainly won't use Bon marche again.

Outstanding experience this morning when I visited the shop in Huddersfield. Alison and shop manager Sarah contacted other shops in the area to find the item I wanted in a larger size. It was Bon Marche shop with Harrods service. Thank you.

I like some of the Bonmarché clothes but have been caught out by paying through PayPal and then found out returns can't be taken back to the store and you have to pay the postage!

I went into Bonmarche Maidstone this morning and the assistants were so very helpful instead of buying the one item I intended, I purchased 5 items. Carole was outstanding and couldn't do enough to help. We will certainly be using the Maidstone shop in future

I ordered 2 dresses in June which still have not arrived. I have tried ringing, but after 40 and 50 minutes wait I gave up.I have emailed them three times, the last time axking for a refund. I have never received a reply to any of them. In effect they have taken my money and lots of other peoples, with no intention of supplying the goods. This surely must be illegal. Are they going bust !

Two items of womens clothing for someone from Manchester were delivered to my address in Newcastle. I contacted Bon Marche who asked me to take it to a local store. There are no Bon Marche shops in Newcastle. I am disabled, in a wheelchair. It's their mistake so they should pay for a returns label or send a courier to collect. Useless company!

I purchased a dress online on the 23/06/25 and now over 2 weeks later it still hasn’t arrived. A lady who lives 150 miles away kindly phoned me to say she has received it and now after emails and many phone calls (cust. services are as useful as a chocolate teapot) I’m still waiting. If you should phone expect to wait at least 25 mins before anyone answers that’s if they do, if they put you on hold expect to be cut off. I may use there shops in the future but I’ll never purchase anything online
