First warning, when googling a journey from X to X, and only one option that comes up is with BookAway, you can already feel something is wrong. Why aren’t there any more options? I should have asked myself. I booked ‘the only’ online option from Hoi An to Ninh Binh on a sleeper bus with BookAway. All seemed to go well, until my confirmation email with the tickets never came through after the suggested 24hrs. After using all available sources to reach them to question this, the only response I received via email from ‘Travel Operator’ was this “It's fully booked. We have fully refunded you. Sorry for the inconvenience” nothing else in the email... just those words... don’t put any trust or faith in this company. Maybe sometimes it works, but I wouldn’t count on them at all.
