It was my second time using BookAway site and I'm super happy with the service, easy & safe. i had to change my ticket date and the customer support team was ON it in 5 m!! they covered all the trip destinations i wanted to go and had all type of transfers

DO NOT USE BOOKAWAY.COM. They took 30 hours to respond to my request for a bus ticket after which I no longer needed their service then they refused to give me a refund. There are better companies that give immediate confirmation.

Bookaway sold me a bus ticket to a bus ride which did not exist. Due to the circumstances, I was forced to spend lots of money on a taxi and a night at a hotel. When I informed Bookaway, they denied responsibility for the circumstances and told me to take up the issue with the bus company, who claimed that that bus did not only exist (!) but that I had also been on it !! I was absolutely shocked by the total lack of responsibility taken by Bookaway, who continues to sell this bus ticket online even after having been informed it doesn’t exist, and has of course neither apologized to me nor compensated/reimbursed me.

Bookwaway : to be avoided at any costs Bookaway is not a reliable platform. My booking which was formally confirmed on their platform with a booking reference, and paid, has been rejected by the end service provider (ferry company). So I was obliged to paid a second time directly to the ferry company for my trip back and forth. Bokeway has found all excuses to state that it wasnt their fault and have refused to refund me, even with the proof of the second ticket. So use other ways to book your tickets.

I am not happy I booked a bus transfer in Egypt and the ticket says partially refundable. I had to cancel my trip and now I am getting different emails from them says it’s not refundable and the operator does not allow cancellations …. But I have a confirmation email saying partially refundable. So who is lying. Don’t book with them they don’t help and don’t reply emails for days.

Avoid booking with Bookaway: useless customer service, wrong information about schedules of local operators, terrible app and absolutely careless attitude to clients. Here is my case. I booked transportation with Bookaway 10 days ago - 1) 2 train tickets from Casablanca to Marrakech (March 17, receipt #1070-3251, BW4851293), 2) 2 bus tickets from Marrakech to Rabat (March 20, receipt #1264-8994, BW4850883). On March 3, they sent me the confirmation email for the bus trip with missing information about the seats. I tried to download the tickets in PDF via the link provided but this link does not work - instead of your tickets you get error 406. As for the train tickets they claimed that ONCF (Moroccan train operator) issues tickets a few days before departure and they will keep that under control. I wrote to their customer support asking to fix the problem with downloading tickets via the provided link or to email those ticket as a PDF attachment. On March 6, Taylor from the customer support replied with apologies and promise to send me the bus tickets as an attachment in near time. I’m really sorry for the trouble with the tickets and for the frustration with the previous replies and the app experience. Our team is now reviewing the issue with the ticket download link and the missing seat details, and they will work on sending your confirmed ticket as a PDF attachment to your email. We’ll update you by email as soon as we have the file ready for you. Taylor - Bookaway Team Today is March 12 and nothing happened. The link still does not work, the bus tickets as an attachment were not sent, train tickets are missing (5 days before the departure date!). I emailed a few reminders - no replies at all. Moreover I found out that Bookaway info on train departure schedules does not match the ONCF departure schedules displayed on the operator' website. According to Bookaway my train from Casablanca to Marrakech is due to depart at 09:37 am, while on the ONCF site the departure time is 09:44. By the way, I booked another train trip (March 21, from Rabat to Tangier) with another agency (travelling.com) and on the next day I got from them ONCF tickets without any problem. Finally, Bookaway app is terrible - very slow and some functions are not effective, e.g. the function of changing tickets. To conclude: Bookaway is a nightmare, stay away from them! I

Good luck getting reliable transit from Bookaway. We booked a trip that was cancelled right before departure, leaving us scrambling to find alternative transportation. We gave them a second chance and booked again through the app, only to have that trip cancelled as well again with no warning until just before departure. This caused us to miss pre-booked vacation excursions and lose one to two days of our planned trip. We wouldn’t book with them again. When we were forced to find alternative transportation, it cost us additional time and money. This level of unreliability is unacceptable. This company completely failed us twice. Zero stars.

No Stars. Minus stars. If you want tickets for buses which don't exist this is the site for you. It's simply a con. They'll pocket the cash. Customer service will ignore you. Choose an alternative site to book your tickets. Honestly.

Stay away from Bookaway! Those SCAMMERS charge your ticket with high fees for giving you no service in return! A few weeks ago, I bought a ticket for the San Pedro- Chetumal ferry. When I arrived at the port, I was told that the Mexican Coast Guard had closed the border due to weather conditions, so my ferry was canceled and would resume in three days. Bookaway didn't inform me of this, and when I requested a refund (presenting the official communication from the Mexican authorities), they told me they would investigate (even though the evidence was clear) and let me know. Since then, they've disappeared. They don't reply me anymore. They're are simply neither trustworthy nor serious; stay away. The most funny thing is that they claim that the company was founded from travellers for travellers aahhahah...that's so ridicolous

I bought the wrong tickets and directly contacted the customer service to get help, and return the tickets. Lara from Bookaway support team immediately helped and responded me within a minute. Very quick and helpful

We used this transfer service from Hanoi to Ninh Binh and had a very good experience overall. The pick-up was from the designated meeting point. The vehicle arrived about 10 minutes late, but the communication via WhatsApp was very fast, clear, and reliable, which made us feel reassured immediately. Their assistance was excellent and very responsive. After departure, we stopped at a point in Hanoi where we changed vehicles and continued the journey in a very comfortable limousine van. The seats were extremely comfortable, spacious, and the ride was smooth. They also provided water, which was a nice touch. Overall, a well-organized and comfortable transfer. Absolutely recommended and definitely a service we would choose again.

I bought a refundable ticket and when I didn't get my complete refund, I inquired as to why that might be. A very nice lady got back to me and cleared things up, explaining that there were parts of the ticket that were nonrefundable, namely, the insurance and processing fee . All is good now and I'm a happy camper.

Unfortunately I never checked this company prior to my booking , big mistake . This is a third party booking agency based in Isreal offering a booking service in Asia. Firstly, it’s not a real time booking agency , this is only revealed after you have paid your fare in full plus their fees , then they say 100% zero cancellation refund . So @ 9.30am I paid in full and got a email confirmation of my booking , then I notice it’s says processing ticket , my train departure 9.30pm , overnight train in Vietnam. After I paid US $160 , the train operator refused to accept my booking confirmation .Despite My email confirmed 1. The cabin type double , 2. Departure date and time. 3. One passager , all confirmed no conditions. Long story short Bookaway sold me a ticket without confirming with operator, they sold me a service they did not provide. I had to pay the operator a further €140 uk to be allowed on the train. So now my ticket is costing over us $300 ,when I could have had a twin cabin for $100. My contract is with bookaway not the train operstor. Bookaway have refused to engage on a refund. It’s applauding a company can act and behave so disreputably, this is fraudulent , taking money for a service you cannot provide. Third party sellers are really becoming redundant and should only be used as a reference point so you can then deal direct with the service provider. After doing an google search, Bookaway has a terrible reputation online for services offered , avoid this company at all costs. I have reported this fraudulent activity to my bank who will take immediate action to recover these monies. I will further report Bookaways practices to all relevant regulatory bodies , they must not be permitted continuing defrauding customers. AVIOD AVIOD AVIOD

I have booked ferry rides in the Philippines. Two have been cancelled, one even without any notice. We found out only when we approached the pier. The service contact was helpful and I got a fully refund after clarifying the issue.
