I spend a lot of money in boots, but no longer. The stores are outdated and the lighting is shocking, they appear to be saving in electricity and much more. The experience gets worse every time I visit
There are very little if any staffed checkouts, and very few staff available to help. nearly all checkouts and stores are self service. It might be a good idea to review your offer, people sometimes need face to face support and advice, particularly elderly.
Self service checkouts may be quick, and a cheaper option for the company but continually having to ask staff for help at the till, is annoying and stressful, I’m not trained as a checkout assistant !!!
Today I spent over £100 on items, and my experience was extremely stressful, to cap it all I lost an item of over £40.00 by the time I got home!
It just seems to get worse every time I shop, so now I’m moving next door to Superdrug which is a much more pleasant experience! No thank you Boot, there is no customer service so cat rate that !!
