My Phonak hearing aid is better than NHS.I have both,the Nhs being only2 weeks old,and the audiologist at Specsavers,who supplied the Nhs aid said that the Phonak was better even though NHS model is made by pHONAK. Service at Boots is appalling.There are only a handful of audiologists spread around quite wide areas.I had to travel some distance to get battery replaced.It is so much easier to get an appt at Specsavers.Having said that the audiologists I have seen have been extremely good and helpful. Special thanks to Keith for Delivering tv connector to my home I think ,on reflection that I could have got a cheaper aid had I looked around and should I need to replace would do so.
