These units are well built and sturdy. Assembly was straight forward and easy (for me). An allen wench was provided for the set screws and the only other tool needed was a Phillips or common screw driver. Make sure you have a long enough iPad power cord to run through the stand to an outlet. A six foot power cord will get it out of the stand and then you will have to figure it out from there.
