One of the worst experiences I have had. A couple of things I have found out during the rigmarole of dealing with them. These are based on my own experiences and conversations I have had with LPD - the company whose products I actually bought and whose delivery team did all the work. Bothy Blue are just an unnecssary middle man. - The business model of Bothy Blue is that they are just a website and an office. It doesn't have a warehouse or its own stock, or at least not for all the products it sells. The product they sold me was actually through another company (LPD), whose products Bothy Blue purchased once I had made my order. In my experience, the original company (LPD) were the ones delivering the items so I had to liaise with two companies to get my products. As I said, this means Bothy Blue are an unnecesary middle man that just add stress and time delays on your order. - This means the items you buy can likely be bought elsewhere from the original company that Bothy Blue will buy it from, so do yourself a favour and get it cheaper and with better customer service from the original company. - There is no phone number for Bothy Blue made available to the consumer or the company they buy from and who deliver. A red flag in itself with hindsight. All comms is via an email address with an approx 24 / 48 hour delay so don't expect any timely responses or to speak to anyone directly. My personal experience was that I never received all my items so after three failed deliveries, I asked for a refund and the collection of the items I did have. This proved just as difficult as trying to get the items delivered in the first place. There is no communciation between the courier who collects (who works for the original company) and Bothy Blue, so paper work goes missing and things are logged, which meant I couldn't get a refund until they had undergone a lenghty process and got the money back from the original company before then refunding me. Despite that being in breach of my contract of sale with them as the retailer. Everything about this company and the entire experience has been disfunctional. There is an incredible lack of customer service - everything is on their terms and nothing is solution orientated. Do yourself a favour and just buy the items you want from the original retailer. Save yourself a lot of hassle and time.
