I had no idea mobile brake service existed before checking online for 'nearby' brake shops and discovered some (like Brakes To Go) come right to you. Brakes To Go has great online reviews and I now I see why. Excellent service. Friendly over-the-phone scheduling. Caegan arrived on time to service my brakes. After a quick test drive and taking apart my brakes, he determined I only needed brake pads (front). I told him I heard a low/soft rumble when braking (like fingers across wood paneling). He explained the noise was likely from the slight glazing he noted on my rotors. Caegan said this was fairly common and nothing to be alarmed about. (If I really wanted the noise to go away, he could replace the rotors; but he assured me my brakes would function perfectly without the added cost.) He replaced the brake pads in a few minutes and left, but not before telling me that I had been quoted $20 more than was due and adjusting my bill accordingly. The entire process took less than 30 minutes. I am very happy and will use them again.
