Bright house financial apparently received the lowest marks from JD Powers customer service survey. Our dealings with them show that this is not surprising. Although they have held our pension money for years, we have spent the last one month trying to get them to cut a check for our funds to roll over into an IRA. Although I do not suspect they are trying intentionally to delay the transfer I do suspect they are incompetent about tracking their monies since every time we call (which has been daily for the last two weeks) they have a different excuse about whether a check has been cut, lost in the mail or not yet cut. As of now we still do not have our money.This is about the worst possible situation with a large financial company.
