They simply lie about everything. They raised their premiums far in excess of annual inflation rates during the accumulation period. Then after finally getting a claim approved in which they dragged their feet for 6 weeks, they don't pay on time and require 20 BUSINESS days after receipt of Assisted living bill AND receipt of facility completed assignment form in order to start to think about paying.
I guess they're no different than all insurance companies which are sold to help you but in the end, are the lying devil in a suit.
I would never do business with Brighthouse. Ever.
