MISLEADING RETURN POLICY
Purchased compression stockings in the UK after carefully reading their “Easy returns” policy, corroborating that my item was eligible and that the system described was straightforward with an automatically generated label for £7 which would be deducted from my refund. The compression stockings were terribly uncomfortable, so I am trying to return and now Brightlife Direct is refusing to create a prepaid label saying that the policy described applies only to US customers and I have to arrange and pay for the international shipping. Clearly misleading and in violation of UK customer protection law, given that in compliance with Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, businesses selling to UK consumers must provide accurate and transparent information about return costs, and they must honor the policy they advertise.
I am now having to go through a PayPal claim process.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY IF YOU’RE OUTSIDE THE US.
