Phoned from supermarket. Expected a wait due to hot weather so mentally prepared for that. They said they were sending a taxi 10 min later I phoned because I did not get a confirmation email. The operator said he was sending a taxi now. I texted 5 min later to say I had not received a confirmation email. No reply so phoned again. The operator said the taxi was 4 minutes away. Waited 7 minutes and phoned back and a different operator said they were busy and had not yet found a car to send I asked why they lied and said it was 4 minutes away. I asked why they couldn’t just tell me the truth from the start so I could make other arrangements. Then the phone cut off. They are often unreliable, but today was awful.. no apology or acknowledgment that they lied. Very poor.
