Brightside has been a lifesaver for me, given that I'm extremely underinsured and am otherwise unable to access many mental health resources. The affordable telemedicine that I get through Brightside is just as good as (and often better than) the extremely costly in-person psychiatric care I was receiving before. Having immediate access to a doctor without having to work through receptionists and other intermediaries is so, so valuable. I wish high-quality healthcare was more obtainable in the US, but I'm grateful that Brightside has found a way to deliver the essential aspects of psychiatry to those who need it.
