“I find this a very convenient platform for my mental health and medication management. I really appreciate the candor with my AMHNP. I really liked my personal LCSW at first but felt like that provider had different goals for me and wasn’t listening to me as well as I’d have liked. She’s an excellent counselor, don’t get me wrong. I found it very easy and convenient to “break up” with that therapist and initiate care with another LPC. Have my first appointment with her tomorrow and will see how it goes! “Not working for me. The blanket one size fits all approach to anxiety and depression is not relatable to me. Doing an exercise, reviewing the exercise and then explaining the next exercise is not the therapy I need.”
“My therapist, Rhea Kisling is amazing. It’s hard finding a therapist that is comfortable to work with and fits your personality/needs. Brightside did a wonderful job pairing her with me. Whether it was pure luck or the questionnaire I filled out, she is perfect for my needs. I appreciate the psychiatrist offers natural remedies along with prescriptions to minimize the side effects of the typical meds. Overall I am very happy with Brightside. Therapy/medication has dramatically improved my quality of life. I’m still a work in progress, but I’m positive that with continued therapy I will get there. As a patient, you have to put in the effort though for any of it to work. Mindset and willingness to make changes are 90% of the battle. Therapy only works if you’re willing to engage. Brightside offers the best help I’ve received yet in 20+ years. Worth every penny!”

The lessons are very helpful and informative. They make me think about my mental illnesses in different ways and teach me ways around things and what is healthy. It is so nice to have the option to message my therapist or psychiatrist at any time of day. The safety plan feature is such a good idea. There is a crisis section you can go to if you need to. You can request meds to be refilled from the app (or website), you can reschedule appointments(24hrs in advance), you can change your preferred pharmacy. I am really loving Brightside, so far.
