“I was doing good, but I do not see my already scheduled appointments. This is aggravated that I have to start all over with a new therapist. This is not good.”
“Initial response is the program is promising with some challenges. Three stars (can't click the rating above?)
While skeptical of the medication it is certainly helping, and the PA who prescribed it seemed knowlegeable.
- Good second meeting with the therapist who hit on areas that I can work which seemed very accurate.
Cons:
- Challenged with the website and inability to schedule meetings more than two weeks out, even though some are monthly.
- The counselor missed one meeting with no notification (no show), although i received a text indicating if i missed the meeting there would be a $95 charge
- Invoices come in appears to be three at a time. No explanation on the invoice regarding what the charge is actually for.”
“My provider is good enough. Client services is terribly lacking—there’s really no way to actually speak to an human being. And, if you send your provider an email with a simple question, they tell you that you need to schedule an appointment.”
“Easy to obtain the proper medication that I desperately needed. The psychological part was too rudimentary and way too focused on the presentations. At one point I was discussing something that was important to me and I was referred to review the video and then refer to another video. Did not seem like personalized or seemed like "let's get this over with and go watch a video!" Did not feel like I was there for anything special only than to be referred to watch a video”
“The system seems good but the psychiatrists seem like they could care less about interactions , I'm looking to replace my physciatrist again simply bc I don't think they're taking care of me”
“Trying to reach the billing department is the worst part about Brightside. One psychologist I had an issue with from the start but the current one I have is amazing along with the Therapist I have is amazing.”
“I like the service, I dislike though that I found Brightside from my United Healthcare app and it said sessions would be $25, but after starting treatment sessions are actually $75 after insurance, which sucks. I will not be using Brightside anymore after I am done finding medication. I do enjoy the actual Brightside program though, I like my provider and I think the service is good itself”
“Brightside is the most generic, passive form of therapy I've ever experienced. Effective therapy is dependent on a therapist's investigation of the client. I don't want to complain about my situation for 45 minutes, I want to have a discussion. I'd like to be steered toward healthy critical thinking in an interactive relationship. The goofy videos are condescending and trite. This is what my insurance will cover so I'm in it for now.”
“I just feel like I am paying a lot for a service where I end up doing a lot more myself. It feel like I am paying almost $400/mo for “just friends”.
I need a psychosexual evaluation for court and I was told they can only provide resources to find it else where. If you are a certified practicioner and im paying for your services you should be able to provide that….
I also have to schedule my own appointments after the fact instead of with my provider in the call. This gets annoying because I am forgetful! I should only have to worry about my feelings.
I also have to do homework which i dont appreciate as again I am forgetful.
I had to do my own safety plan instead of doing it with my therapist so I can focus on doing it right and they could help me make it better. Instead she just said she would send it bavk and make me do it again. That was unnaceptable I think for $349…..
I should be able to focus on getting better. Not doing my Therapist and Psychiatrists notes for them.”
