“The care I have received is top notch. The practitioners listen to me and prescribe meds with appropriate dosages. This is the best care I have ever received.”
“I’ve been happy with the convenience of Brightside and the fact that my insurance is compatible. I had problems changing therapists but I believe that was user error (and I accidentally changed medication providers instead). My one complaint is that they can’t prescribe stimulants, so I’m seeking outside treatment for ADHD assessment.”
“Very helpful. Getting some relief, but we are still gathering information about most effective dosage of Wellbutrin. After several weeks of progress at the same initial dosage, my sense this week is a consultation about some increased dosage would be useful.”
“Brightside is great to work around my day and work schedule. My therapist is amazing and my psychiatrist is pretty great as well. We are finding the right med combo to combat my diagnosis and it seems to be heading in the right direction. It's been life changing.”
“I believe Brightside has been beneficial for me in receiving care for my depression and anxiety. The questions are concise and accurate, and I am frequently offered support when I need it.”
“Brightside Therapy has given me structured support for my depression and anxiety. The platform makes it easy to access care, and I appreciate the combination of therapy sessions and digital tools that help me track my progress.
What’s Working for Me:
I feel more understood and less alone in what I’m going through.
I’ve started learning coping strategies that help me manage anxious thoughts and low motivation.
Having regular check-ins keeps me accountable and reminds me that progress takes time.
Challenges:
Change is slow, and some days I still feel stuck in old patterns.
It takes effort to consistently use the tools and apply what I learn outside of sessions.
I sometimes wish for more immediate relief, but I know therapy is about long-term growth.
Therapy is helping me make small but meaningful changes. I’m noticing slight improvements in my mood, sleep, and ability to cope with stress. While I’m not “cured,” I feel more hopeful and supported, and that’s a big step forward. Thank you”
“My previous therapist wasn’t very professional. He took most of our video call appointments on his cell phone in his car which made me uncomfortable. My current therapist LaTreece Ross is awesome and has been very engaged in our conversations, I feel like I’ll be able to make real progress with her the more we work together. If the rating was just for her I would have selected ‘very good’ but since I factored in the poor experience with my prior therapist it brought Brightside score down to just ‘good’.”
“I have had trouble connecting with the doctor. But the meetings with Dawn are going exceptionally well. She is very supportive and informative. I like her a lot and respect her opinion. I find myself looking forward to our sessions. However, I have trouble connecting with the psychiatrist due to my poor computer skills. For instance, I didn't notice my mic was not on and missed an appointment because I couldn't connect with him. I have rescheduled and I apologize.”
