Mis sold a breakdown policy by being told it was “included in the price”. I found out at a later date that it was in fact £88 extra but bundled into total price. No opportunity to make an informed decision on the product and it’s conditions and worst of all it’s with RAC! The absolute worst breakdown company around. Have emailed Brightside (CVD) to lodge a complaint but ignored. Twice. A truly awful company to deal with. AVOID! You’ve been warned. They’re shoddy and the staff aren’t trained properly. As far as I’m aware this is a serious breach of regulations from FOS/FCA but it doesn’t stop them from ignoring my complaint. Embarrassing.
