After spending many years with another fibre provider and ever increasing prices for just broadband alone and with the cost of everything else in life going up, I bit the bullet to review what my options were. With having City Fibre available in the street this was the first port of call. After a quick look through providers that were on offer, it was a "no brainer" to go with brillband. Signed up very easily through the website with a date that was just over a week ahead - earlier appointments were available had I been available. New router came with a couple of days of signing up. Engineers came a couple of days ahead of time to do their survey, then on the day of installation gave a call to say they were on the way. Installation was without issue, all done and dusted in less than an hour. Now I have broadband that is less than half the price that I was going to be paying post the April increases with my previous provider, and it is almost 4 times faster than what I was paying for (250Mbs -> 940Mbs). Even better with the eero 6 router is that I can take better control of browsing activity of our youngest and ensure that all of their devices can't browse the internet after bedtime. Broadband shouldn't be expensive, it should be fast and reliable backed by great customer services and so far brillband is ticking the boxes for me.
