They sold a new car with known wetbelt issues and never mentioned it. We Bought a new Grandland in 2022 from Bristol street Sunderland. At no point did the salesperson state there is a known issue with the wet belt. A service plan was purchased so all sorted (we thought). They did not highlight the fact that if there was any delay in the servicing due that the entire warranty would be void (I purchased my first car off them in 1995). When they rang up to arrange the service they did not have an available weekend to service it. I asked if it would be ok to get it serviced when we were off about 7 weeks later (car had done 9000 miles). They said that would be fine. Not stating that if you do wait your warranty is totally invalid. Continued to pay the service plan and get the next 2 services done. On the most recent service at 26000 miles was told that the wetbelt was cracked and would contact Vauxhall. Waited a few weeks no reply, I rang Bristol Streetup who told me they had heard nothing. I then rang Vauxhall to ask about it and they told me they had already replied to bristol Street rejecting the warranty claim because of the overdue first service. Spoke to the Sales manager and he basically said we wouldn't tell you about the wetbelt (a known fault that vauxhall admitted). So before you consider buying ask about the wetbelts, still on them the sales manager told me. Basically we wouldn't buy another car from Bristol Street motors and by default vertu ever again. So if I could have given a 0 star review I would have.
