There is nothing to recommend British Gas. Dreadful account management with an app that hasn't worked in a year. Hopeless management of smart meter readings to the point where I'm not sure what the point of having a smart meter is when with BG. Confusing and inaccurate bills. No way to usefully contact customer service. Price rises that I consider to be price gouging. How their leadership team receive bonuses is beyond me. I can only assume that they survive due to being part of an effective cartel which guarantees profitability.
