My experience with British Gas is truly abysmal. I did not choose to go with them but was automatically sent there when my then provider stopped operating.
The ‘live’ chat I feel is operated by a robot as the responses are less than adequate.
I cannot find anything good to say about British Gas .. truly the winner of the worst customer service award by far. Save yourself! Go elsewhere..
