My experience with British Gas has been extremely disappointing. For an entire year, I faced difficulties in setting up a direct debit. Each time I called, I was assured that everything was in order and that there was no need for concern, yet nothing was resolved. Despite raising my issues, my emails were ignored, and I received misleading information regarding my outstanding bills. Unbeknownst to me, my case was handed over to a debt collector. I subsequently reached out to the head of customer service and the CEO, but neither responded. This level of unprofessionalism and poor customer service has led me to plan my departure from British Gas as soon as possible
