Avoid British Gas if you can.
Absolute shambles of a company.
I was left with a bill of £1,800 from an installed faulty meter when I left my small one bedroom flat.
They also left me 3 late payment markers on my credit file, even though I proved I paid £100 on each of those months, and they will not remove them.
No help from anyone, just demands for payments!!
I tried many times to go through the complaints procedure and nothing ever happened.
There are so many better companies out there and I have no issue with the company I am with now.
Avoid if you can!!
