The brush is okay for a quick fix me up but for my hair, my curling iron does a much better job. However, I usually get it cut a bit shorter in the spring and summer and when it is shorter, the curling iron makes the curls too tight so I think the brush is going to work great then. I will keep it for those in between days because sleeping on it makes my hair go straight so I can out a bit of a lift on it with the brush.
