I bought a voucher for a location which I considered would be nice, but when I tried to redeem the voucher the specific location did not come up at all. Various other places in the same area came up, but not the one I wanted. I tried all the others just to see what was available, but all kept coming up as not available for dates chosen, even though I tried lots of different dates over the course of the year. I was very disappointed and rang Customer Services. I was told that Buy a Gift had changed the booking system and customers had to book via Buy a Gift now and were not able to contact venues directly. It would have taken a very long time to go through all the options and dates to check availability, to try to find something which was appropriate.
In the end, I asked for a refund for the voucher. This was done immediately and the money when straight back to my account, so at least that went well.
