I like shopping on Mercari, due to the very low price yet rare things you can find on the market. However, by using Buyee as a proxy, the fees just keep piling on each other and it becomes VERY expensive. An item listed for 1,500 yen on Mercari can easily become 4,500 yen just from using Buyee. I do not recommend buying only one item because the shipping fee will cost a lot. I have been trying to contact a Buyee agent but they were not very quick with responding. Buyee might be good if you are considering to buy multiple items.
